• Senior Documentary Maker and Network Producer with CBC Radio based in Calgary Canada covering major national and international current affairs stories.  1985 – 1996.
• Host and operator for CBC Radio in Prince Rupert, B.C.  1982 – 1985.
• Freelancer in radio and print, Vancouver 1980 – 1982.

Teaching

As a teacher, Susan has trained journalists in South Africa (1994 – first All Race Elections), Cambodia (2001) and across Canada for the CBC (part-time staff trainer 1988 – 1991). She’s also worked with the Institute for the Humanities at the University of Calgary and served as a board member for Women and Film in Television - Alberta.
