Susan Cardinal is an award-winning documentary maker, storyteller and teacher with a wide-ranging career spanning both television and radio.

Television

• Writer and Director of Dream Makers.  2006.
• Creator and principal Writer/Director for The Thirsty Traveler now in its fifth season and syndicated to 65 countries worldwide.  Susan’s traveled extensively with the series from Iceland to Chile and from the Czech Republic to Cuba to name a few destinations.  2001 – 2007.
• Director of Fixing Dinner with host Sandi Richard for Joe Media.  2005 – 2006
• Writer, Director and co-Producer of The Snow Eater (Discovery Channel), a documentary about Alberta’s phenomenal Chinook Wind swept the annual Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association awards in 2003, including Best Director, Best Writer and Best Documentary.
• Writer, Director and co-Producer of God’s Explorers (History Television) also garnered a number of Rosies.  2001
• Writer, Director and co-Producer of On The Edge: The Nature of Risk, a co-production with the National Film Board of Canada aired in prime time on Discovery Channel.  1999
